Student Earned Income Exclusion
This permits a person who is younger then age 22, not married, not
the head of a household, and attending school on a regular basis to
exclude up to $1290.00 of earned income per month and not to exceed
$5,200.00 per calendar year. This exclusion is applied before the general
income exclusion or the earned income exclusion. As of January 1, 2001
the Student Earned Income Exclusion will increase on a yearly basis
with the cost of living amount.

Exception to minimum requirements:
If a person due to the disability he/she experiences
must receive education at home by a home tutor who directs the study.
